When we started boudoir photography more than 15 years ago, we started with boudoir in the wild. We were young, 20-year-old students (which means we were poor!) starting our life together in a very tiny studio flat, but we were obsessed with creating harmony between a woman's body and a landscape. So, we started shooting outside in the south of France where we were based - sometimes on a field, sometimes along a river, sometimes on the ruin of an old castle, and once in front of an old mill during sunset. Landscapes were inspiring, guiding us to find the best poses and the best emotions to create something unique. We were extremely lucky to have many artist friends and so we slowly started to photograph French models, international
models, and then built enough confidence to guide non-pro models during their first boudoir session.
Before coming to Vancouver Island, we lived in Tahiti and New Zealand. In each city, we discovered new landscapes but also new women with their own stories and goals to reach. We continue to be destination boudoir photographers and focus now on Canada, especially BC.
British Columbia has so much to offer us - the rainforest, wild beaches, deserts, and mountains.
Most of the women you see in our book are not models. They are women who want intimate photos of themselves, sometimes naughty, sometimes creative. They want something to show off months of training on their body. They want to have more confidence after something significant happens in their life. They want to prove to themselves (or to someone) that they can show their sensuality in a beautiful place. They want to reconnect with their real, natural selves.
