So, it’s not a surprise that boudoir is something very common to do and part of the culture.
We have a saying that every woman needs at least one boudoir session in their life. In fact, many of them will choose to have a boudoir session three times in their lifetime. It could be for many reasons, like an unconditional love of art and photography, to preserve or heal after an important milestone in your life, to commemorate a pivotal moment, to appease a bet you win or lose, to do as a challenge, to use as a moment to reconnect, as a gift, and much more.
It can elevate your self-confidence and help to build your seductive appeal. The key is to do it with elegance, with someone you trust and feel confident with, and to not act as any character but yourself..
HOW DOES IT WORK?
During your meeting, we will chat about your desires and goals and compile photos on a
Pinterest board to create a clear shooting plan.
In your session, we’ll go at your pace. We could start with a bed session - if you are shy, depicting you in your cocoon, a safe place you know well, or to show your fragility and sensuality during this intimate session, like Marilyn Monroe, playing and hiding in your sheets.
After some time, or if you’re already confident, we can explore other parts of the home. Boudoir does not just consist of a “bed-session.” We really enjoy taking pictures of our clients all around the home -, in the shower, the kitchen, and the living room..
Lingerie.
Boudoir is about you. Are you a lingerie person? If not, there are many other outfits and accessories that can work perfectly with your style.. If you truly like lingerie and what something new and great quality for this shoot, you can take a look at our collection..
NUDity.
We love nude art, but it is just one option out of many. Sometimes it seems logical to do, and other times not. We will discuss your preference before the shoot and what level of exposure you’re comfortable with and ensure you have a great experience.

Many photographers sell their "boudoir session" as a fancy shoot with dramatic make-up and hair in a luxurious place.
We are a luxury boudoir company, but we don't think that luxury means artifice. We are in love with Calais lace, pearls, fine satin, silk, Guerlain, JP Gaultier, YSL... we could be amazed by a woman on Louboutin heels, that's true, but to be honest it's less about the red sole and more about the curve it gives to women.
Being classy is a state of mind, an attitude, the way you place an arm, the ability to maintain beautiful posture...that's what we call “le chic à la Francaise,” and that’s what we want to show you.
Even if society and social media try to standardize our views and tastes, Boudoir does not necessarily involve a dark studio, red or purple velvet couch, or boho-chic decor!
You might have never done anything like this before which is perfectly fine. Most of our clients have never taken boudoir photos before, and are everyday women just like you! We will be there to guide you and give you confidence.
We’ve worked with women from all around BC and beyond, including the Okanagan Valley, Greater Vancouver, Victoria, and on different locations on Vancouver Island. We also have clients from all around the world who want a boudoir session during their honeymoon in Tahiti, Mo’orea, and Bora Bora! We have studios at all three locations with dedicated photographers, which were created while we were living there.
Clients you can see on our website are teachers, businesswomen, nurses, doctors, artists, dancers, accountants, brides, engaged, single, divorced, and all looking for much more than the low quality run-of-the-mill "glamour shot"-type experience from standard photographers. For this reason, we will not propose mini sessions, as we think you deserve more than that! As this might be a once-a-lifetime experience for you, it has to be perfect - and that isn’t possible when rushed.
